What Is α-PHiP
α-PHiP, also commonly referred to as alpha-PHiP, is a compound of the cathinone class and is a structural isomer of its parent compound Pyrovalerone.
It is also very similar to the other, more well known, compounds A-PHP and MDPV.
Although α-PHiP is similar in structure to compounds that have been tested and approved for human consumption, α-PHiP is for research purposes only and not intended for human consumption.

As mentioned above, α-PHiP is a compound of the cathinone class and shares chemical properties with the more well-researched Pyrovalerone – the only difference being a shifted methyl group from the 4 position of the aromatic ring to the 4-position of the acyl chain. Just like Pyrovalerone, α-PHiP can be expected to produce extraordinary results although no studies have been conducted to confirm this.
Like all psychoactive cathinones, α-PHiP is believed to increase the release of dopamine and inhibit the reuptake of epinephrine, norepinephrine, and serotonin in the central nervous system.
It is worth noting that all Cathinones are based on the psychoactive compounds found in the Khat (Catha edulis) plant, whose leaves produce a stimulant-like effect. Khat has been consumed this way for hundreds of years in many African countries, and it is from this plant that all chemicals within the cathinone family are derived.
